Cast
Bouncer: A junior high student who has experimented in the past with drugs and alcohol, and has left them firmly in his past. He plays in a band at his next door neighbors'. The band's name is "MC Rabbit and the DJ Cool". He likes roller blading, basketball, and is the lead singer for the band. Favorite band: The Dave Matthews Band.
Honey a 7th grader and the keyboard player of MC Rabbit. She is a starting goalie on the school soccer team and has a pet gerbil. She likes roller blading, boogie boarding and reading Teen People magazine. Favorite food: pizza with everything on it...but no anchovies.
Sunny, an 8th grader. He is the band's drummer and neighborhood comedian. He has a girlfriend for the first time, but she doesn't know it. Musical influences: Ginger Baker, Buddy Rich, and the drummer from Def Leopard. Favorite snack food: potato chips and M & M Almonds.
Wac Dog is a junior in high school, Bouncer's brother, and trouble with a capital "T". He bought a 1968 Camaro from his proceeds as a minor neighborhood drug dealer, and is Bouncer's nemesis. Wac Dog quit organized sports in the fifth grade after a run-in with a referee, to the immense relief of the other parents.
Coach is their basketball coach and school Social Studies teacher, who instructs them in goal setting, and talks to them about positive self-esteem as an alternative to drug and alcohol abuse.
Spike is Bouncer's dog. Whatever you do, don't say his name. Favorite movie: Lady and the Tramp. Has seen it 215 times. Favorite toy: anything that bounces. Favorite food: letter carriers.
