The Cast
Mrs. Picklebottom is a loving and dedicated fifth grade teacher. She and her husband, a physicist with NASA, are the proud parents of 31 children, all but two of whom attended college. She is an amateur anthropologist and antique collector who loves old movies (North by Northwest) and John Grisham novels on the beach (The Chamber).
Suzy was born to the same litter with her two brothers, Buster and Chester. She is a bright fifth grader with a passion for books (The Lion, the Witch and the Pigstye), pop music (N'Stink), and photography. Her photos and scrapbooks were used on this web page.
Buster is also a fifth grader. He loves food of all kinds, skateboarding, sling shots, comic books and cartoons, and football. Favorite movie: Shrek. Favorite junk food: potato chips and twizzlers. Favorite team: The Ravens.
Chester is more sensitive than his siblings, he is the family computer wiz. He loves all things fantasy. Favorite book: Harry Potter or The Hobbit. Favorite annual event: The Renaissance Festival. Future aspiration: to be a magician/sorcerer like David Copperfield or Joe Romano.
Tina just started middle school. She and her brother, Rocky, spend the summer at the beach working at their parents' curly fries stand. She's into jet skiing, roller blading, and surfing. She never saw a day that she didn't want to be outside. Favorite song: Faith Hill's That's the way it is. Favorite restaurant: Australian Outback. Favorite book: Into Thin Air.
Rocky loves to build and tinker. He built his first go-cart at age five, reboring the pistons himself. Last year, his class A dragster competed in the National Junior Championship, placing third. He wants his driver's license badly! His next project: an ultra-light airplane. Favorite movies: Saving Private Ryan; Heart Like a Wheel. Favorite reading: Hot Rod Magazine; Popular Mechanics. Favorite TV show: Home Improvement.
Rooster comes from a long line of excavators. His parents own and operate Driggs Excavations and Rigging. He wants to be a city planner or demolition expert.
The Lifeguard is a math teacher during the school year; a fun-loving people person who loves pasta and jamming with fellow jazz enthusiasts.
